Asian business and management: review and future directions

Abstract This century has been proclaimed the Asian century, as industrialised countries such Japan, Singapore, and South Korea, along with rapidly emerging nations China India, have contributed to worldwide economic growth. In response, research analysed reasons why business management found success. Based on a bibliometric analysis of Business & Management (ABM), premier journal devoted management, here we examine performance constituents, social structure, intellectual structure 331 scholarly papers, which sheds light growing influence ABM through six major knowledge clusters: corporate responsibility; in markets; governance; internationalization; political ties; organization culture performance.
